We're building ScoreIt in the open, with schools, for schools. Every feature we ship, every improvement we make, comes from conversations with coaches, athletic directors, and school administrators. We're not guessing what you need—we're asking, and we're building based on real feedback.

Right now, ScoreIt does a few things really well. You can post scores and updates in 30 seconds. The mobile-first design works on any device. Professional formatting is automatically applied. Updates publish instantly to your ScoreIt page. You get a dedicated space for athletic updates, easy-to-read score formatting, organization by sport and date, and mobile-responsive design. Setup takes minutes, requires no technical knowledge, includes customizable school branding, and it's free during our pilot program.

But we're just getting started. In the first quarter of 2026, we're adding multi-sport support with organization by sport, sport-specific formatting, team rosters and schedules, and season records and standings. Photo integration will let you upload game photos directly, with automatic image optimization, photo galleries for each game, and easy sharing to social media. Our notification system will send email notifications for new updates, optional text message alerts, customizable notification preferences, so you never miss a game update.

In the second quarter, we're building community features. A parent and student portal with personalized dashboards, the ability to follow specific sports or teams, save favorite games, and share updates easily. Alumni engagement features including alumni-specific functionality, historical game archives, season highlights and recaps, and connection to school programs. An analytics dashboard to track engagement metrics, see which updates perform best, understand your audience, and make data-driven improvements.

By the third quarter, we'll have advanced capabilities. Automated updates with integration to scorekeeping systems, automatic score posting, real-time game updates, and reduced manual work. Custom branding with school colors and logos, custom domain support, white-label options, and full brand control. API access for integrating with school websites, connecting to other systems, custom integrations, and developer-friendly tools.

Our development philosophy is simple. Every feature starts with conversations with schools. We're not guessing—we're asking and building based on real feedback. We ship updates weekly. If you have an idea or find a problem, we can often address it within days, not months. Your feedback directly shapes what we build.

Reliability comes first. ScoreIt needs to work, every time. We prioritize stability and performance over flashy features. When you need to post a game update, ScoreIt will be there. We believe the best tools are the ones you don't have to think about. Every feature goes through a "simplicity test": if it makes ScoreIt harder to use, we don't build it.

The best way to influence ScoreIt's development is to use it. Join our free pilot program and share your feedback. Every suggestion helps us build a better product. Have a feature request? Found a bug? Want to see something improved? We want to hear from you. Email us at hello@scoreit.app or reach out through the app.

Schools are using ScoreIt in ways we didn't expect. Some post updates during games, not just after. Others use it as a communication hub for schedule changes. Many appreciate having a dedicated space separate from social media. What's working? The 30-second posting time is a game-changer. Professional formatting is highly valued. Mobile-first design is essential. The dedicated platform reduces confusion.

What are we improving? Making photo uploads even faster, improving notification reliability, adding more customization options, and building better analytics. We're just getting started. Our vision is to make ScoreIt the standard tool for high school athletic departments. That means better tools for every aspect of game communication, deeper integrations with school systems, stronger community features, more automation to save time, and better insights to understand engagement.

But we're not building in a vacuum. Every feature, every improvement, every decision is guided by one question: "Does this help schools share game updates better?" If the answer is no, we don't build it. If the answer is yes, we build it fast, we build it well, and we keep improving it.

Want to know when new features launch? Follow our blog, join our pilot program, or email us to get on our update list. We're building the future of high school sports communication, and we want you to be part of it.
